Her son, Robert Ricci, created the Perfume department in 1941. Cœur-Joie appeared in 1946. Its bottle initiated the house’s longstanding collaboration with the crystal maker Lalique, which in 1948 created the celebrated bottle for L’Air du Temps. Crowned with crystal doves, it embodied love and liberty; the fragrance became the iconic Nina Ricci perfumes of the House.

Born in Curaçao, Rushemy Botter lived a big part of his life in Amsterdam. After fashion studies at Arnhem, he joins the Royal academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp, mentored by Walter van Beirendonck and Dirk van Saene.
Lisi is born in Amsterdam and lived traveling back and forth between The Netherlands
and The Dominican Republic. Lisi Herrebrugh studied at Amsterdam Fashion Institute and graduated Cum Laude.
Rushemy’s Master collection won several awards among which: Dries van Noten award, BVBA32 Ann Demeulemeester Award, and 33rd Hyeres Festival’s Jury Grand Prize.

Maria Nielli was born in Turin in 1883. She moved to France at a young age and by the age of 13 was working as dressmaker’s apprentice. She continued her career in fashion, working for other designers and created the brand, Nina Ricci, in 1932.

The glass bottle and silver top are designed to look tiered, and the pale pink fragrance represents its femininity. The top notes consist of gardenia and yellow mandarin. The heart notes comprise white dragee and the base notes include precious woods.

With the top notes of Carnation, Peach, Neroli, Bergamot, Rose, Brazilian Rosewood and Aldehydes, with the middle notes of Rosemary, Carnation, Gardenia, Violet, Orchid, Cloves, Orris Root, Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang and Rose, then ending off with the base notes of Spices, Iris, Amber, Sandalwood, Musk, Benzoin, Oakmoss, Vetiver and Cedar.
