What happens if I am not entirely satisfied with my product?

My Perfume Shop checks and verifies every product before shipping. If an error occurs — for example, if the perfume is broken or faulty — the product must be returned within 7 days.
When returning a product, please include full details and an explanation of why you are not satisfied. Also, note that the product must be returned in its original box.

All valid returns will be replaced and shipped within 5 working days, once we have received the damaged product and verified the issue.

The return of unwanted items is at our discretion and will only be accepted if the product is unopened and in its original condition, with all tags and packaging.

Please note: we do not arrange the return unless we send the incorrect product.

 

What happens if I want to return goods for an exchange or refund?

In accordance with the South African Consumer Act, you may return any product, provided it is in the same condition as received — unused and still sealed in its original packaging.
My Perfume Shop honours a 7-day full refund policy (excluding courier delivery charges).

Please return the product at your own cost, as you received it — unopened and unused. When the product arrives, we will inspect it to determine if it qualifies for an exchange or refund.
A copy of your order must accompany the product. Returns without documentation will not be accepted.

 

We do not arrange the return unless we have sent the incorrect product.
A full refund will be issued if you choose not to exchange the product. Refunds may take up to 5 working days to reflect in your account.

If a perfume has been opened and returned for a refund or replacement, and it passes all quality checks, a 20% handling fee will be charged. Courier fees will also be deducted from the purchase price.

If you wish to exchange the item, you will be responsible for all return and exchange shipping costs. My Perfume Shop honours a 7-day return and exchange policy.

 

What happens if my parcel is damaged on arrival?

If a product is damaged upon delivery, you are required to not accept the parcel from the courier. If it is delivered, you must notify us within 24 hours.
Please provide photo evidence of the damage.

 

What happens if I want to change my order once I have placed it?

You may change your order unless it has already left our warehouse. Please contact us urgently before we pack and ship the order.

If the order has already been shipped, you may still return it. However, you will be responsible for any courier costs incurred.

We will issue a store credit, and courier costs will be deducted from the credit.

 

Special request orders
We charge a 50% handling fee for cancelled special import requests (for products not listed on our website).

 

What happens if I have entered the wrong address?

If a parcel is returned to us due to a delivery failure or incorrect address, an additional delivery fee will apply when re-delivered.
Please ensure the delivery address is correct and double-check it before placing your order.
