While we all have our must have, my life depends on it fragrances and while we should always respect the classics, it's never a bad idea to dust off that perfume list and add in an new fragrance to try and who knows maybe a new signature scent?
Now I know this is a very bold statement to make because we (guilty is charged) can tend to be stubborn about new fragrances, you know the usual avoiding eye contact and having every warning sign go off, while rather sticking to what we know and love. There are some perfumes that really did make a statement for themselves in the last year and left most of us surprised if not impressed with their new style and scent, which in this industry is a rather difficult task to achieve, because The Perfume Jury shows no mercy even to our well-known and most respected designer and for that they really do need the accreditation they deserve, so without further ado, here is the list of the most popular fragrances in 2019.
Of course, I am going to mention Chanel... because Chanel belongs on every list, especially the shopping kind!
Coco Gabrielle Chanel is the symbol for the modern woman in the 21st Century along with every luxury we all dare and dream to enjoy. There is a lot of expectations for this designer brand to perform what we have come to know and love Chanel for and this is what I believe this fragrance exactly is. Gabrielle Essense is the perfect choice for those who wish to command and conquer on a daily basis, but to still feel their lady-like nature with them.
It is the " modern woman " with it's sleek and crisp design, and bright gold liquid she shows nothing that but class.
It's Notes include : Jasmine, Ylang-Ylang, Orange Blossom and the most captivating flower of all, Grasse Tuberose.
First impressions can sometimes be the wrong impression and in this case I do believe that Joy created a lot of hype for the wrong reasons, it left a lot of mixed emotions, with very little excitement to the user. The design is plain and simple and this created rather a stir in regards to how well the fragrance would preform as whole, and this is where I went wrong.
Again first impressions can be misleading and that is exactly how Joy felt. The first spray knocked the air out of me from it's very fruity aroma and potency, but once the scent had calmed down, I was left with a clean fresh flora and musky scent.
The clean and floral aroma becomes an addicting smell that left me captivated by it's long lasting performance and underrated scent. Joy seems to have this effect on many users and with that become a must have and a must try, putting you on a roller coaster of aromas and emotions, it is very well know for it's mass appeal which can be used on any occasion.
Notes include : Zested Bergamot, Mandarin, Grasse Rose, Jasmine. With it's heart notes including warm and creamy sandalwood and finally it's blended base notes of Musks

I'm always inspired by other bloggers and perfume lovers to share thier review and when it came to writing about this blog post we decided to share the review and photography of Richard Goller from Fragroom.
" I have a soft spot for Dunhill fragrances, as they capture understated elegance so well. Dunhill Century Blue, the follow-up to Dunhill Century, is no exception.
There’s a fresh citrus intro, thanks to notes of bergamot and mandarin orange, which continues throughout the fragrance’s progression. Spicy ginger amplifies the cleanness. It’s intermingled with a leathery orris note. The base warms up with the addition of amber, with a sprinkle of sea salt in the background.
There are no surprises here, but look no further if you want a scent that’s grown-up and strikes a skilful balance between tradition and modernity." - Richard Goller

" Narciso Rodriguez fragrances are characterized by their musky character. Each time I try a new release, I’m impressed by the different twist on the dominant note. This EDP opens with another enchanting display of musk. It’s fresh and green to my nose, yet cozy and comfy at the same time. White florals amplify that effect, while cashmeran adds muskiness and woodiness to the mix. On paper, Pure Musc for Her sounds very simple, but Constant, who has produced a number of fragrances for the brand, gives it a typically elegant treatment." - Richard Goller
